Apache is my daughter's horse, but she has had double knee surgery and won't be riding for awhile. After recovery, she'll be graduating and won't be taking her horse to college, so we decided it would be better for him to get some use by someone else now. He's about 15 and has been used a lot. We bought him a couple years ago from a 65 year old man who used him extensively in the mountains and around cows. We have used him for our kids and on the ranch. He has been on trips to the Uintahs for the past three summers. Great on the trail and gets along well with the other horses. He was a lead horse and ponied the pack horses. Does great on high line or hobbled. He is level-headed and doesn't get excited about much. He has been there and done that, gathering and moving cows in some pretty crazy country. He'll take care of you or your kids. He walks out well. Stands tied, shoes well, loads and hauls well, easy to fly spray. Great for beginners as well as those who know what they are doing.
