Jerry is a big solid gelding that is seasoned and solid. Don't let his age fool you, he is sound and solid and will have several years left in the tank. He was used on a ranch early in his life then moved to a recreational rider when he was 8 and used on the trails for the summer and hunting in the fall. We have had him for the last 3 years and also used him for occasional trail riding and on the elk hunt. He will fit most any level of rider - is seasoned on the trails and for ranch work. Our daughter has been riding him since July working him more in the arena and feels he could be used to carry flags or in 4H. We have packed elk on him and he handled it great. While he is seasoned and experienced, he has not been used hard over the last 13 years and he is healthy, easy keeper, and should have 3-5 years of use ahead.
