Kidd is the type who wants to do it all and will turn heads while doing it. This gentle giant has experienced a lot in his 5 years of life. Kidd has been used moving cattle and leading pack strings through the mountain trails of Wyoming. Over the last 2 years Kidd has also worked on an 85,000 head feedlot in Nebraska. He has seen everything from large, fast equipment to grizzly bears. This summer Kidd has been in cowhorse training with Novacek Colt Co. He will be shown multiple times in August in the ranch riding, ranch roping, ranch trail, and boxing events. Come watch him compete at the Top Ranch Hand Challenge ARHA Show in Grand Island, NE August 27th and 28th! Kidd is a hand opening gates, sorting cattle, dragging calves to the fire, roping fat snorty steers, or in the show ring. He is very docile, but not lazy. This big boy will walk all day long or get after a cow, whatever you ask. He stands like a saint for the farrier and trailers great! Kidd is also at a great age to send down another career path if desired. Kidd will pull whatever you rope and I believe he would excel as a head horse.
