Gambler was bred and raised by us. Gambler is super bred. His sire, Lucky Aces and Eights won the All American Derby Consolation and is a leading sire of barrel horses. His dam took our daughter to High School Nationals three years in barrels and one year in poles. She was a proven arena horse and is a combination cutting and running horse, with Holey Sox and Lay A Patch on her papers.
Gambler has been patterned on the barrels, lightly roped on in the arena both heading and heeling but not hauled. He has been used ranching in the Bookcliffs. He has been used many years in hunting camp trailing and packing elk and deer in the rough country of the Bookcliffs. Gambler has never offered to buck, bite, strike or kick. Stands to be shoed. He loads and hauls good. Good in pasture with other horses. He has been in combination stock trailers, bumper pulls and slant loads. Gambler has been ridden by experienced riders and not so experienced riders. All have gotten along with him fine. He is gentle but not a baby sitter. He needs someone who knows how to use the reins. Gambler has the potential to do about anything you would like. He has a big heart and doesn’t run out of gas at the end of the day. He can go all day every day. He has been off for a year due to a death in the family. He is being sold due to my husband passing away and leaving me too many horses to ride and feed. He has always been sound with no maintenance issues. I plan to add pictures, pre-vet exam and some videos to the offering before sale day so keep checking back. Questions can be directed to 970-327-4787. We never registered Gambler but I have a full sister to him and have attached his breeding. If I get the papers by sale day they will be provided otherwise he sells as grade.
